A first for Farnborough and for Panelven Kitchens.

Recently, for the first time, Panelven Kitchens attended the Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Their first time at the venue, the Homebuilding and Renovating Show had over 120 exhibitors, a seminar theatre and a masterclass theatre as well as an opportunity to “meet the experts” to discuss your project with.

Build Up

With only 2 days to erect our kitchen display in, the install team worked extremely hard and efficiently to fit the ENTIRE KITCHEN in the first day. After a minor setback early on they persevered and had the worktop fitted after only 8 hours!!

This meant that on day two we could complete the kitchen display with the signage, samples and then finish with dressing the kitchen and cleaning it ready for the show.

Our Kitchen Design

We decided on displaying a Langton, in-frame shaker style kitchen at the show, painted in charcoal and brilliant white. This sophisticated monochrome look is driving kitchen trends recently and The Langton from Burbidge simply takes the quintessential English shaker style kitchen into a new era. With a Quartz worktop and splashback in “Silverlake” from Cosentino its cool tactile finish was the ultimate compliment to complete the design.

The design also included Blum®Legrabox drawers, a single Blanco under-mounted ceramic sink in crystal white and Neff appliances.

Showtime

Both days were extremely busy and our Team worked hard speaking with attendees about our display, looking at their designs and making suggestions on how to maximise their space.

Over the course of the two days the event was attended by over 9,700 people.

Take Down

Having put the display up in two days and having it up for two days, it was now time to take it back down. The install team were now against the clock again, having just 5 hours to take down the display and load it into the vans. After a long night the kitchen was down and back at our warehouse just before mid-night.

The Team

After months of planning, weekends of building, preparation, social media campaigns, installing, dressing and cleaning the kitchen was ready for 48 hours.

A great deal of time was invested by staff, friends and family to help us with our first show and a huge thank you goes out to them all.

Now to get planning on the next one ……..
